About Us

We’re Rough Draft Music Studios, and we’ve been a rehearsal and recording studio here in Palatine, IL, since 2015. We believe in treating our customers like family, and we offer studios fully equipped with vintage gear so you can plug and play. We started Rough Draft Music Studios because we've always been passionate about music, and this studio was a way to turn a hobby into a business. We’re looking forward to partnering with Chicagoland area consumers to continue to provide people with a great place to pursue their musical passions. They also hand craft their very own equipment, support other artists, and import some rare pedals and picks so all of their product has a one of a kind touch born of resourcefulness. This is THE ONLY PLACE KNOWN to have a guitar board designed with a particle accelerator to create this amazing electrical field pattern. And the only other art like this around these parts is at the Chicago museum of science and industry!
